Also, note that apparantly the "15/423" code has not changed since Mike bought his SS GMT IIc (which is long ago). Could indicate that the code has nothing to do with "date" or "number of production", but is a FIXED code for _something_ (and my guess is that it is some sort of country code).I am very curious to know what number is above the "15/423" on your clasp. Unclear in the photos but the number around the inside at 6 o’clock reads Z754008, the LEC can only be seen when the light hits it right and on the clasp it says OP8 15/423.
