I bought the same clutch (different color) in HK recently, it came in a beautiful black Saint Laurent Paris box and a dust bag. I was thrilled with the unexpected packaging of my clutch .
Getting a box is not a gaureentee. However all bags must come with a dustbag. It depends on the availability of stock for boxes, style of bag and size of bag. Sometimes when something is too big they won’t come with a massive box. Generally speaking sites outside of the YSL site generally do not come with a Saint Laurent box. I bought my bag in the ysl store. The SA put it in a black SL box. I got another cassandre in the same ysl store. The SA put in a black SL box. She was so nice. Her name in Morgan, ysl houston galleria. so all my purchases got a dustbag and box. I purchase a clutch from nordstrom and they only gave me dustbag. ••• I am obsessed with having the box, dust bag, and also the outer shopping bag. When I was out to get my LouLou in medium. I went to Nordstrom, Saks, and Neiman. They all told me they only have the black dust bag and will give me the department store box and bag. Something about the company agreement. When I opened the box, I was horrified to see it just packed in plain plastic, no bubble wrap protecting it, no Saint Laurent . The service and delivery was excellent and it was very well wrapped and packaged. It came with the ysl dust bag and they also sent me a Selfridges dust bag. There was no ysl box but I had paid for the gift box , just in case. Will definitely order .
