WordPress has many profiles. These include contributors, editors, and admin. Each profile has a unique set of permissions that you can modify with plugins for additional roles.
You must give access to multiple editors or contributors to your WordPress editor to allow them to create content on your site.
The old editor was a classic editor that allowed contributors to write content but did not have permission to upload files or images. To allow them to upload images, you needed to add a user role editor plugin.
How do you control the editor? You can add images to your site if a user has access to the editor.
The plugin makes it easy to manage this aspect of your website with the new profile feature.
You will find the plugin options panel. Here you can add a profile. You can create a new profile to be a “contributor”, or any other role you choose, and you can also set the blocks you want access to.
The block will be visible as well as the default blocks in this list. You just need to select the blocks that you want for the user profile you are creating.

LILY
Gutenberg, huh? I will have to add that to the list of plugins.
I appreciate the fact that you added and showed this on your blog, as a lot of us affiliate marketers are looking for effective plugins to help with stuff.
By the way, do you know of any good plugins or ways to get a newsletter going? I would definitely love to get that going real well.
Hi Nicholas, I’m only too happy to help. The Gutenberg block editor will certainly help you to polish and control your website. As to creating a newsletter, there are two ways that you can do this. You can add a plugin to your website and send it out from there but my advice would be to create a newsletter in your autoresponder and send it this way. There are very good reasons for doing it this way as you will be able to see who opens it and have it go out to all your subscribers on autopilot. Aweber provides great tools to do this. You can check out my training tutorial on how to setup an autoresponder.

Enjoy the journey.
It definitely takes some time to get used to, but Gutenberg editor does produce a much better blog layout in my opinion.
For me, I switch between classic editor and Gutenberg, depending what kind of layout I am looking for.
I haven’t explore all the features that you mentioned here, thank you for summarising them here, now i get to understand them even better.
Hi Grace, I think that you have the right idea of switching back and forward. It’s important to not waste too much time just on formatting at the beginning of your business journey. But there are things in Gutenberg that can be quite useful.
