Leadpages’ usability, templates, and advanced features are unmatched by any landing page creator. With virtually zero experience, you can create great landing pages.
But before you start your free trial (14 days for free), there are some essential things you need to know.
Even though it is a little expensive ($37 Per Month, paid annually), I believe you will see why Leadpages has the best landing page editor
available for businesses.
What are LeadPages?
Leadpages is a set of tools that can help your business grow by helping you capture more leads and turn those leads into paying customers. The landing page builder is their most prominent feature. They also have some annoying pop-ups that can be irritating.
Upon starting, Leadpages was as easy as choosing a template to edit some details. They took care of the rest. Wow! That sounds amazing! Leadpages is the best landing page tool available.
Leadpages’ Lead page editor is an easy-to-use, drag-and-drop tool that allows you to create landing pages that convert.
First, you need to know the capabilities of the tool.
Leadpages claims that it is the best landing page tool available online. The features are hard to resist. This tool is extremely powerful for business growth. However, it’s not too complicated to use.
Enable Leadbox Tracking
Leadbox allows you to track each visitor’s interactions with your popup. It will enable you to track how long the visitors leave the popup open and whether it achieves its goal of getting sign-ups or clicks.
Google Analytics allows you to track the performance of your Leadbox and make an assessment. This will enable you to see which features are working well and which aren’t and reevaluate your strategy.
Leadpages templates are the best in the entire industry. They’re all mobile responsive so that they will render well on any device.
Do you need a landing page or template for a lead capture form? Do you work for a startup?
I am just nostalgic about how useful Leadpages’ templates can be. Still, I love how simple it is to create professional landing pages in almost any industry for any purpose in a matter of minutes.
There are two types of Leadpages templates: Drag-n-Drop and Standard. Standard templates are limited in customization options if any.
I’ll go into detail in the pros and cons section. But there are some things you need to know. While templates can be an excellent tool for businesses, there are some issues that you should be aware of.
This is to retain the users’ attention when they are about to click away. Leadpages allowsyou to design your Leadboxes within minutes using a drag-and-drop editor.
Even better, you can connect your email service provider to ensure that new subscribers automatically subscribe to your preferred email list.
Pop-ups or Leadboxes
This is to grab a visitor’s interest. Most likely, you’ve seen a Leadpages popup (Leadbox). Leadboxes look professional and help you get more leads at the right time.
Leadpages allow you to create a highly-converting Leadbox in minutes. It also has automatic settings that will pop up at the peak of your visitor’s attention.
You can forcefully invade the eyesight of your visitor by making an offer that they won’t be able to accept once they are engaged on your landing page.
How much does LeadPages cost?
Leadpages is a great product that I believe is well worth the money. It’s not cheap, but I won’t lie to you. Its pricing is a common complaint with the tool. This is mainly because most of the high-value features of Leadpages are not available in the Standard plan.
Standard Plan – The monthly price is $15 US Per Month (billed annually). For 1 site.
For a tool that makes landing page creation quick and costs $180 US Per Year, it doesn’t seem too expensive.
But once you look at the details, the bad news is obvious.
The Standard plan does not include:
- Sub accounts
- Unlimited A/B testing
- Online sales and payments
The Standard plan includes:
- Group coaching
- Unlimited landing pages
- Unlimited popups
- Facebook and IG ads builders
- More than 200 templates
- Unlimited alert bars
If you are serious and want access to all their features then the Pro plan is your best bet:
The Pro plan costs $74 Per Month (Paid Annually)
But, the standard plan has all the business resources to make amazing high-converting landing pages, quickly and easily but you can’t make sales and payments unless you upgrade to the Pro plan.
LeadPages Pro is an excellent choice if you are looking for a suite of marketing tools to help your agency scale up to the next level for 3 sites.
What more do you require?
You can create a landing page for small businesses with the Standard plan. That’s plenty if you ask me. While you won’t have the most advanced features, it’s still a lot.
Pricing Verdict: Although Leadpages can be expensive if you need all the best features, the Standard plan is more than enough to create high-converting landing pages. It’s also not too expensive.
The Pros and Cons of Leadpages
This was a lot of information, so I’ll summarize the pros and cons of Leadpages.
- Integration: It includes 40+ standard integrations, including Facebook ads, Google Analytics, and live chat software.
- Usability: Leadpages’ drag and drop editor and intuitive widget system make it easy. You can become a professional landing page creator in just a few clicks
- Templates: Leadpages offers templates for almost every function and all business niches. You can search for templates that match your needs or browse options tailored to your industry. Leadpages does all the work for you.
- Leadpages is feature-rich without complexity: It offers impressive features such as SMS marketing, Leadlinks, popups, alert banners, and in-depth analytics. However, it’s super simple to use.
- Drag & Drop editor is a mess: This is the problem I have already mentioned, and you should be ready for it. Although the editor is excellent, it has some flaws. The widget boundaries can be a little off. Sometimes an element will snap into the wrong spot or end up where it should. You can also delete elements, but this leaves you with awkward spaces that are difficult to fill. It had some problems.
- Pricing: It isn’t cheap. The minimum cost starts at $37 for one site with up to 50 Sites at $300 Per Month. Paid Annually.
Leadpages is an excellent tool for creating high-converting landing pages that include opt-in forms and email capture pop-ups. Starting at $37 for a Standard Package, $74 for a Pro Package, and an Advanced Package for $300 monthly fee, you will have everything you will need to build many landing pages to create a successful business.
If you plan to be building landing pages for other companies then the Advanced package will give you everything you need immediately.

Hi Lily and thanks for the info on the Lead Pages solution.
I am now at the stage in my internet marketing adventure where my business could really benefit from creating a lead capture system to build my customer base. I have hesitated this far because of my lack of confidence in my ability to build great looking landing pages that didn’t look like they had been created by a novice.
The lead pages solution with its pre designed templates and pop options looks like it would be a great way to get started for someone like me as it removes these barriers. I also think the monthly fee of $37 is quite reasonable for a service like this so will definitely be checking this out.
Thanks again for this very helpful info!
Hi Julie, you are very welcome. I know that we all feel a little daunted when we first start promoting online. You will get there and Leadpages is a great way to get started.
