LeadPages Software Review 2021

This LeadPages software review will show you how to use the Leadpages
software for creating landing pages and pop-ups. Also, you will find some key features that are important to small-business owners.Leadpages software review

Pros:

  • It provides a 14-day trial offer.
  • You can create your own landing page in minutes.

Cons:

  • You cannot do A/B testing with the Standard plan.
  • You cannot edit the templates in the Standard plan.

What are Leadpages?

This software allows you to drag and drop tools that can be used to:

  • Create a landing page, webinars, e-books, and courses.
  • Set up opt-in email subscription forms to help you grow your mailing list faster.
  • Convert visitors into leads or buyers.
  • Make basic sales funnels that are linked to your email provider.

Its main selling point is its simplicity. Because it only takes five minutes to create landing pages using the drag-and-drop editor. This is a significant improvement on what would normally take you several hours and you don’t even need to know any programming to create a page.

It can be integrated with many popular email service providers such as ActiveCampaign and ConvertKit. Thus this tool can connect to WordPress using a plugin, or, if it doesn’t, it will provide formatted HTML you can copy into your back-end website.

Who Owns the Leadpages Website?

Clay Collins founded Leadpages in 2010. It is based in Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States. Collins and his team sold the company to Redbrick in 2020. Redbrick is a company that holds a number of digital properties.

Pricing for Leadpages: What Does it Cost?

  • Leadpages is $27 per month (billed yearly) for the Standard Version.
  • Its Pro plan costs $59 per month (billed yearly).
  • The Advanced package costs $239 a month (billed yearly).

Choose to subscribe to a monthly subscription or an annual plan that offers a discount. And its refund policy states that you have a 30-day money-back guarantee and can cancel the subscription at any moment.

Leadpages Standard is ideal for small and new businesses that don’t want to pay a monthly fee. To integrate payments into your landing page directly and support SMS text campaigns, the Pro option is for you. The Advanced option is better suited for larger businesses, and it includes a 1-on-1 phone call.

How does it Work?

Leaddigits allows webinar hosts to call a number. You can text this number to receive a copy of the presentation and speaker notes.

The Leadlinks feature can be useful if you are using email marketing campaigns to get customers or registrants for your webinar. As it can be pasted into an email broadcast and the email subscriber will automatically register.

Use Leadpages to create pop-up bars and alerts on your website in order to increase subscribers or leads. Accordingly, the best way to grow your email list is with pop-ups.

How to Create a Leadpages Landing Page

Leadpages is a tool that can help you create landing pages. This will grow your email list and also sell books through advertising.

How to create a Landing PageHow to set up a landing page

Go to the Leadpages website and click on start a Free trial.

1. Pick Your Leadpage

Leadpages has several templates for landing pages that you can sort according to the conversion rate. The conversion rate is the number of people who click on the call-to-action button on your page or complete the form on the landing pages.

Each industry has a typical landing page, so you can choose a template that suits your needs. A free landing page template was created just for authors.

Other templates include webinar registrations, sales funnels, and email marketing to attract subscribers through Facebook ads.

You can purchase premium templates from Leadpages for a small fee, if you don’t like what the default templates have to offer.

2. Use the Drag-and-Drop Editor

Drag and drop editing is possible within the Leadpages’ landing page builder.

  • Add dynamic elements such as a countdown timer.
  • Change the colors, fonts, and look of your website template.

In five minutes, you can change the look and feel of your webpage template to match your company branding. There are some quirks in the drag-and-drop editor, so I recommend saving your work often.

  • It’s easy to save time and create a brand style guide within Leadpages using your preferred font and color scheme.

3. Upload your Lead Magnet

Leadpages make it easy to send e-books, PDFs, and other lead magnets directly to your customers or subscribers. These can be uploaded to your landing page, and saved in the Lead Magnet Library for future reference. Thus this is a great way to grow your email list quickly.

Leadpages offers regular training and webinars for customers who are unsure of what type of lead magnets they should create.

4. Create a Thank You Page

Once you generate leads for your company using Leadpages, the next step is to create a thank-you page. This is easy because Leadpages has many templates. Thus after installing a conversion plugin, you can create a thank-you web page to track conversions from Facebook ads.

5. Split-test Variations of Your Landing Page

Try making variations of your landing pages and split-test different elements such as the text on buttons, color schemes, or the whole design.

This advanced functionality is only recommended if you expect to get significant traffic to a landing page. Even with tools like Leadpages, A/B testing can be time-consuming.

6. Publish Your Leadpage

It offers a premium WordPress plugin that allows users to publish landing pages on their domain. Choose whether you want SEO to make your page appear in Google search results.

This may seem complicated but simply call customer support if you experience an issue with Leadpages. They will respond within hours or immediately depending on the subscription.

7. Check out Leadpage Analytics and GoogleGet your data in google analytics

Leadpages provides easy-to-understand analytics for all the landing pages, pop-ups, and Lead Magnets that you create.

It is possible to see which Lead Magnet is the most popular and how many people have subscribed to each Leadbox. Use these analytics to generate ideas and improve calls to action.

A-B testing is also available for landing pages. This is great if your goal is to test different calls of action or images.

How to Create a Leadbox in Google Leadpages

Leadboxes, which allow users to quickly grow their email lists, are a popular feature within Leadpages.

1. Use Google Analytics

You can use Google Analytics to determine the most popular blog posts on your site.

2. Create a Content Update and Upload

For the most popular posts on your site, you can create content upgrades or giveaways such as:

  • A short audio recording
  • Checklists
  • Get free reports
  • Low-quality images that can be restructured in high resolution

You could also make the following:

  • Worksheets
  • Templates
  • Video recordings
  • Video transcripts
  • Podcast transcripts
  • Audio recordings of blog posts
  • Book chapters
  • Videos from your books

3. Make a Leadbox

The next step is to create Leadboxes in Leadpages.

4. Copy the Leadboxes Code into Your Blog Content

You can copy the code for these Leadboxes into your top blogs posts. When visitors click on the Leadboxes links, they are instantly offered a Lead Magnet.

Opting-in is all that’s required to get the PDF, audio record, or resource guide. Leadpages immediately sends the appropriate PDF or MP3 to visitors who opt-in when they sign up.

It will add their details to ConvertKit if they confirm that they have subscribed to your Insider list. You will be able to double your opt-in rate and reduce your bounce rates by creating Lead Magnet links for some of your most popular posts.

Don’t be afraid if all of this seems complicated. The Leadpages plugin for WordPress makes it easy.

Summary

If you have the budget to create a professional landing page, Leadpages is the right tool for you. It will help you grow your email database faster and convert more leads to customers.

This tool can help you save time and avoid coding HTML landing pages. It is designed for bloggers and small businesses that don’t have the time to tackle technical problems.

  1. I know how important it’s to have a good landing page. This is the final process before a sale is made and the landing page must be great. It should take our customer by the hand into the purchase. I like that their starter plan is affordable. I will give it a try. Thanks for reviewing LeadPages.

    • I can see that you really understand the buying process and a landing page is a must if you want to convert people to buyers. I guess we need to keep in mind that it should create an emotional response in people so that they feel that they need it now.

  2. Thanks for sharing with us all your review of Lead pages. I always use Aweber, but I still figured I’d give this review a read anyway as I take my hat off to any program that offers a free trial. That’s what all programs should do. That my friends is good business practice. I think I might try this one out.

  3. Nice article information and advice from this affiliate group. Being that I am still in the beginning stages of development. And learning the pros and cons. Having too many affiliates, and too much advice isn’t good neither. Being that this is my first. I wouldn’t mind looking into more details. And being a follower. It is going to take a while to really get the whole thing completed anyway. I’ll maybe give myself another 3 years.
