I will be providing you with a detailed Post Planner review in order to help you decide if this social media tool is right for you.
Entrepreneurs will likely need a social media application that is easy to use and has a low learning curve. Post Planner offers a wide range of useful features.
This type of tool should be intuitive enough that almost anyone can use it.
Post Planner is an amazing app that lets small businesses manage social media tasks. It features an intuitive interface that allows content managers and entrepreneurs to access the source (content curation). It helps to schedule and publish engaging content on their social media pages.
Let’s get started!

About Post Planner!
Post Planner is an award-winning social media marketing tool. It was created by social media experts for social media marketers. It lets users easily manage their social media campaigns, especially on Facebook, Twitter, etc.
The combination of simple-to-use tools with valuable insights makes it possible for even the most novices to use social media to achieve predictable, measurable, and profitable results. Post Planner offers a host of features that can be used to increase engagement and expand reach on social media.
The Key Features of Post Planner
Let’s take an in-depth look at some of Post Planner’s most notable features…
It can be difficult to keep your social media channels updated with new content. This tool matches the right content with the best time(s), for maximum engagement with your audience.
Just pick the photos, videos, links, updates, and/or status that you want to schedule. Next, choose the best time for maximum engagement.
You will quickly see how the system automates your content and provides the audience with multiple post options. Your followers will never stop expecting new posts from you.
This allows you to make sure that everything works in the best way possible so that your posts can be seen on every social media platform. All this is possible with one click. All you need to do is click!
Users have reported that it took only two hours to plan and automate social media content for a month.
Find the Top-Performing Posts
Post Planner can help you find the best-performing content for any keyword. Posts can directly be published to your blog (RSS feed), Twitter, or Facebook account. You can also use hashtags on Instagram.
With just one click, you can curate and share content relevant to your audience. Post Planner rates every piece of content in its database so that you can be sure you are always publishing high-converting material.
The Status Idea Engine
You can use the status engine to generate your own status updates in addition to searching for high-performing content. This is a great tool for quick status updates, especially when you aren’t sure what to do next.
These status updates allow you to choose from a wide variety of topics and questions that you can edit and then publish.
Targeting
This allows you to set a target audience to receive the posts that have been scheduled. This is a good way to convey your posts to the right audience.
Add to the List
You might want to share similar content to multiple Facebook groups and pages if you are an administrator. Post Planner’s “post to the list” feature is a great tool. You can create multiple lists and then share (or queue) the same content across them all. It’s easy, right?
Time Zone Updates
Social media strategy can be complicated because of the differences in time zones between your audience and you. If you are a UK entrepreneur and want to post a “Good Morning” message on Facebook or Twitter at 7 AM GMT, you could post an image with an inspirational message.
For other locations outside the United Kingdom, the time difference can be huge!
The PostPlanner’s automatic time-zone conversion tool makes it easy to schedule a post for 7 AM. It will then appear at 7 AM for all members of your audience. The post will appear at 7 AM regardless of where they live in the world. It’s pretty cool, right?
Advantages of Post Planner
Post Planner ensures you get all the information you need to find the top-performing content that you can publish. You will find the following data:
- Social media accounts
- Hashtags
- Topics
They are ranked according to their vitality. So you can easily visualize the amount of engagement you will get from your campaigns.
This is only one of many things Post Planner does in order to deliver on its promise. It helps to increase social media engagement by 650% over any other social media tool available!
Facebook is a great channel for increasing brand awareness and driving traffic unless you have been living under a rock. Facebook is also a great tool for bloggers looking to grow their readership.
You can manage the RSS automation feed of your blog, in addition to Facebook and Twitter. It is easy to set up an RSS feed that will automatically send out posts. Simply select the group or page you want to send posts to, and then add the RSS feed URL.
Post Planner provides a user-friendly dashboard. From here users can edit, view, manage, and schedule their social media posts. It’s great that these menus can be accessed from anywhere.
You can also run analytics reports from the dashboard and compare your posts to a range of metrics. This, combined with the ability to collaborate with other members of the team, gives Post Planner the feel of a simplified social media management system.
Monitoring Your Posts
This data is invaluable for monitoring the success and failure of your Twitter and Facebook campaigns. It gives you all the information you need to make decisions about whether to re-post content on other social media profiles, pause campaigns, adjust your target audience, and so forth.
Post Planner is an all-in-one solution for entrepreneurs who want to manage social media content. A one-stop-shop for entrepreneurs who no longer need to log in to each social media account to schedule posts.
Post Planner allows you to do all of this from within the app. It doesn’t require you to log in to any third-party site. This is yet another way Post Planner respects your time.
With the Post Planner’s built-in scheduling tool, users can set a time and date when they want to publish their posts. Users can even recycle old posts!
The Main Drawbacks of Post Planner
Most negative reviews of Post Planner are from users who want to integrate with other social media channels. As Post Planner is limited to Facebook and Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram are not available.
But with the help of the free automation service called IFTTT, you can schedule posts to other profiles through Post Planner. These include your Tumblr, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other social media accounts.
The Technical Details
Post Planner is compatible with any cloud-based devices such as Mac, Windows, etc.
How Much Does it Cost to Use Post Planner?
This is the most important section of this review. However, it won’t work if your budget isn’t compatible with it.

Post Planner: How It Works
Let’s now take a closer look at Post Planner. After you log in to Post Planner’s dashboard, you will need to set up a few things via the “Settings” tab.
This will be found towards the bottom left sidebar. The settings you will find are:
- Social Networks
Here you can link your social media accounts with Post Planner. You can select the handles that you wish to activate, and then grey out those you don’t want to. This is useful if you manage multiple social media business accounts.
- Queue Time
You can also set the time to queue your posts. This way, you won’t need to manually set the time when scheduling a post.
- Team
After you have done this, you can now specify the editing and posting access you wish to give each member of your team. You can also control access to specific social media profiles for a particular employee.
Sharebar
The Sharebar is an exclusive Post Planner feature. This allows you (a content manager) to create a Sharebar that you can add to every post you share. This is a great way to increase brand awareness and post awareness.
- Account Profile
This includes all your basic information, such as:
- Your full name
- Your industry
- Your company name
This is a quick process that can be completed in a matter of seconds.
- Defaults
Here you can choose your default time zone.
By default, the social profile to which you will post is yours.
It’s simple, right?
- Account
This is where you manage your account settings. You can see your current payment plan and upgrade options.
How Can You Find Shareable Posts on Post Planner?
Yes, you can schedule and publish your social media posts. Post Planner integrates with Canva so you can create professional-looking graphics for your posts. The Post Planner’s “Find” function is the best.
This has been mentioned in the review, but I thought it might be helpful to explain how to use this tool. Here it is…
This is the first tool that you will find in your dashboard’s left sidebar. This can be used to find engaging articles and statuses that are relevant to your niche. This content can be shared on your social media accounts.
It’s simple. To make your brand more visible, you harness the online popularity of others. You can share accessible content to make your brand more visible.
Use a Filter
By selecting the appropriate category, you can filter your search for content. This is useful for finding content that’s more relevant to your business needs. You can also search for “Status Ideas,” or browse through your saved content under the My Content tab.
Once you have found the content that you believe your audience will like, click the “Share” button. This icon should appear whenever you hover over a potential article. A caption can be added to the article.
Next, choose the social media account to which you wish the content to be published and click “Add to Plan.”
You can also create custom content folders. This handy feature allows you to organize and collect your favorite niche content. You can save content that you don’t want to share right away and refer to it later.
Planning Your Social Media Content on Post Planner!
Let’s now take a look at the second tab on the left sidebar. This tab is called “Plan”. From there, you can set the default posting times for your scheduled post. You can also set up different posting times.
You can set up different posting times for social media posts on weekends and weekdays. This is where you will undoubtedly benefit!
Conclusion
You can choose which content you want to publish at specific times. You might want to post photos at 7:05 am, articles at 11:15 am, and text at 7:05 pm. These tools work on the time zone settings I’ve already mentioned. This can be set up under the Settings section and then the Defaults tab.
Everyone needs to schedule their posts and this tool is worth considering early on in your business journey.
If this has helped you in your research, I would love you to leave a comment, or a like and share.
Thanks for visiting.
LILY
Does this one have a Free Trial version you can sample it with before paying for it? I currently use Blog2social which is good. But this one sounds like its analytics are more detailed. So maybe worth a try. I do however have more than just Facebook and Twitter. Is it compatible with other social media organizing software or plugins?
Yes, it actually has a free version which is a bit limited like Blog2social, but paying the $7 a month is no hardship to try it out and cancel if it doesn’t really work for you.
Hello Lily, thank you for this great review. I am so glad that I have come across this post. Like most of us, I enjoy writing my blogs but when it comes to posting it on social media, I have not developed a reliable process for myself as of yet. This product seems perfect for me, thank you for suggesting it and explaining in details how it works and how it could help me. It also appears to be very affordable.
Hi Anna, that is great news. I really struggled with posting for a long time and wish I had known about Post Planner sooner. Also, have a look at the Blog2social plugin, it’s very easy to use and even cheaper per month. I find it perfect to auto-post my new content and schedule older content throughout the week.
Being able to easily manage our social media campaigns seems like a dream come true. I enjoyed social media very much before I had a business. But now, it has become a stress. There are so many elements that have to me considered, and I have arrived to the conclusion I need a tool that aids me. Thanks for giving me this option.
You have the right idea Ann, it is so easy to get too stressed about social media and just not do it at all. A better plan is to get a schedular where you can take control of what and when you post. This is a good plan!
