Does anyone know if you can 'easily' remove a bezel w/ the crystal on a modernish (late 1990's) Navitimer ? I have a 1461/52 and the large chrono seconds hand came off and I was wondering if there is a way to take off the bezel w/ crystal so i can put the hand back on. In October of 2016 I purchased a second vintage Breitling Navitimer which I knew would be a long term project. The watch consisted of only a Venus 178 movement, dial, slide rule, and hand set. I would need to service the movement and find a case and strap for it before the project was complete. I've got a tried and true method of getting stuck back off, or for one I don't have the correct tool for, epoxy. Never has failed me. A good two part epoxy on about an 8" piece of wood. Mix up about a dime size spot and stick it on the back of the watch. Ältere Navitimer Modelle haben z.B. einen gedrückten u. keinen geschraubten Bodendeckel.
