I think Rolex is more focused on accuracy (to their credit I think their +/- 2 seconds per day is the most accurate mass produced mechanical watch you can buy) and durability. As many know, and as a debatable comparison, the GS 9R movement is ±1 second per day / ±15 seconds per month (average).
