If you’re looking for a reason not to get it.I have a one-watch-per-brand rule. The datejust looks great, it’s a nice configuration but your collection will be very Rolex heavy by the time you add it and the explorer.
Some pros: Love the level of adjustment available with the micro adjust and the Easylink. SA originally took two links off but I found that to be a bit too tight. I put one back on and moved the microadjust to the tighter setting, perfect fit . The quintessential Rolex. Congratulations. I love my SS 36mm DateJust smooth bezel, on a Oyster bracelet. A classic, simple, watch.
Thoughts on the new 41mm Datejust 41, I am curious what some of the other dial color choices look like on the wrist. for me it was the Dark Rhodium.
