Social media is now a major place where anyone can advertise his or her product and also, content. In my SocialPilot review, I will be looking at a platform from where you can coordinate all your social media posts.
Social media has millions of users including those on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and others. These users advertise items in front of a large crowd of people through their social media accounts. And this advertisement is without a door-to-door method of marketing.
For every social media network, there is always a peak time for it. And this depends on the network type and the location. During the hours of that peak time, your posts get full exposure to different audiences.
However, should we just sit and wait for the peak time of a social network to post our content? This is where the SocialPilot platform comes in.
About SocialPilot
SocialPilot is one of the tools for marketing and promoting your business. To post your content, it is very good to schedule it on several social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, and VK. Your posts can also be shared on pages and groups on Facebook, and also, pages on LinkedIn.
The SocialPilot platform is for scheduling. SocialPilot has a dashboard that is readily understood. This dashboard helps to create and manage posts, respond to comments, monitor statistics, and so on.
SocialPilot can be used to its best advantage by individuals, agencies, businesses, and enterprises to connect social media users together and boost your traffic.
Main Features of SocialPilot
- It is easy to use and manage
- Affordable to buy
- Scheduling in bulk
- It can upload images, videos, and GIF files along with your post content
- It is able to detect your target audience
- Browser extensions to enable effective scheduling
- It has a fourteen-day free trial
- Multiple images are allowed to be present in a single post
- Content duration and content recycling
- Marketing on social media platforms
- Premium customer support
- Facebook ads support, etc
How To Schedule Your Social Media Posts with SocialPilot
After you have signed up, you will see a clean dashboard. In this dashboard, you can add your favorite social media accounts, create and also manage posts. This is where you can monitor analytics and other activities related to your social media campaign.
- First – go to your Accounts tab.
- Then – add all your social media account addresses so that you can promote content on them.
- Go to the Posts Screen and enter the text or URL you want to share.
- Automatically, SocialPilot makes a schedule for each post, and then, you are free to manage the time slot as you like.
On the right side of the screen, click on Profiles. Here, you will see the Post Review button at the bottom of the screen, you can add images, videos, and GIF files, if necessary.
On the SocialPilot portal, there are five types of sharing options
These are:
- Add to queue
- Share now
- Share next
- Schedule
- Repeat post.
The “add to queue” sharing option helps to send your content to the queue scheduling. And thus, it will be published according to the time slot of the respective accounts. And the “repeat posts” helps you recover your content at periodic intervals.
Also, in the dashboard, there is a posting history and daily usage chart. These features allow you to check the campaign history and also, correct errors if there are any. Another main feature of the SocialPilot account is the Analytics; this allows a powerful insight into post engagement, page clicks, social media reach, and fan growth, etc.
Simply put, SocialPilot is a great asset for marketers to use for promoting their products and content. This social media tool is not only used for that but also used to boost sales.
Pros of Using SocialPilot
SocialPilot is a simple and excellent tool when it comes to reaching out to a large crowd of people. The tool has many plans to suit your needs, whether you run a business or a blog. Let’s consider the main pros of SocialPilot and then, the cons.
Pro
1. It is Easy to Afford
Compared to other marketing tools like Agora Pulse and Hootsuite, SocialPilot is very cheap.
- It costs $25.50 dollars per month for the Professional basic plan. This basic plan gives you access to 25 social media accounts, analytics, bulk scheduling, and other features you need for your social media campaign.
This plan also gives you the opportunity to add up to three members to create and manage content.
- There is also a plan that costs $42.50 dollars per month for the Small Team. This plan allows for unlimited client management, social inbox, white-label reports, and so on. For this plan, you can add up to 50 social media accounts for promotions.
- An Agency plan for $85 per month which includes 100 social media accounts.
- All plans have a Free 14-day trial.
- SocialPilot also offers cheap marketing solutions to help promote your business on request.
- Ready to have a try and uncomplicate your life, click here for your 14-day trial.
First off, a little caveat: within my articles you will find affiliate links, meaning if you buy using them, I get a small commission. Your cost is not affected. In fact, it costs you nothing. But helps to support me in bringing you helpful articles. Thank you.
2. Clean Look
SocialPilot is easy to navigate, as it helps you manage your entire marketing campaign direct from one place. It is very user-friendly and probably, it will get you addicted to using it every day.
After you have signed up, you will see your daily usage history and the upcoming post for each social media account. It will help you know how your campaign is running and also, help you correct any errors.
In the left sidebar of the SocialPilot account, you will be able to create and manage posts, monitor statistics, respond to messages, and so on.
3. Content Recycling
SocialPilot shares directly, the content on connected accounts periodically. When it does this, it helps to save time in content marketing and even, helps to increase your page visits when you are busy.
Go to the content scheduler, next to the Add to Queue option, click on the drop-down arrow. Then, click on Repeat post to recycle your content.
After this, you will see a pop-up box, there; you will set the time for the recycling and in how many days. For example, if you want to recycle the post ten times in fifty days, you fill in 10 times and the next box, 50.
Then, to create your post schedule, click on preview. If necessary, change the date and time. After everything is set, click on the Schedule button to create and also, recycle your content.
4. Content Categories
A favorite feature, loved by many (including me) on SocialPilot is the grouping. When you group, you create content categories based on subject, website, and client names. You can include a social media profile for each group to share content on them automatically.
During the creation of new posts, all the groups appear in the middle pane. Now, you click a group to select the profiles on them. You can include more accounts too if needed.
5. More Networks
SocialPilot supports social sites such as Facebook, Tumblr, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and others. With this, traffic can be diverted from all possible sources along with the statistics for each share.
A main feature of SocialPilot is the Facebook group scheduling. This helps to connect your Facebook groups together and make time slots to share content on them automatically.
To activate this feature, adjust your settings to allow SocialPilot to create posts and attach images to them. SocialPilot is one of the best marketing tools with nine popular networks and a Facebook group scheduling feature.
Another advantage of SocialPilot is Instagram direct publishing
6. Analytics
SocialPilot provides detailed statistics of your posts and accounts. These statistics also include your post engagement, page clicks, post frequency, and many others.
Schedule your content to a time when most people are active to get more clicks. SocialPilot gathers the information of your audience and uses it to detect your target audience, age, group, and location. And this will definitely help to boost your traffic.
7. Team Management
As said earlier, SocialPilot is really good for marketing. With the help of SocialPilot, you will have every one of your activities under your control.
On SocialPilot, you can add members to your team and give them work to do. Each team member can be assigned to a specific assignment which he or she is to handle. This will ensure that your digital marketing goes smoothly and you will see positive results.
For agencies, SocialPilot has client management tools for you to use to monitor your clients’ promotions. They will create posts and view them, manage messages and access social media profiles, right under your control.
Utilizing SocialPilot you can take control of promoting your content to gain consistent growth in organic traffic through many social media outlets, all automated.
8. Fourteen-Day Trial
SocialPilot gives a free trial for a period of 14 days on their subscription plans. So, this will allow you to experience their features before you opt-in for a plan.
Cons of Using SocialPilot
For the past two-to-three years of using SocialPilot to market products and content, there have been no noticeable cons that I have seen.
SocialPilot supports media sites; it allows you to group content, provides analytics, and so on. It allows you to send posts either as next, add to queue, schedule at a specific time, or instantly.
Who is SocialPilot for?
SocialPilot manages a particular market for marketing agencies, small businesses, and startups who want to reach out to multiple social media networks to have an effective marketing campaign, without spending on high-end features.
It manages those who want to access more integrated features than they get with the free Hootsuite or Buffer account, without having to incur heavy expenses on any of the platforms.
Most competitors outside the SocialPilot network would ask customers to add new users by subscribing to the pro version; this means that those customers would be forced to pay for features they might not really need or want.
Rather, SocialPilot provides an insightful social media dashboard and prominent social media posting, at a rate that is appealing to little-known and new companies wanting to use social media platforms for promotions.
SocialPilot Pricing
There are 4 major pricing plans on SocialPilot.
The cheapest of the plans is the Professional Plan, which goes for $25.50 per month if paid yearly once in a period of 12 months. But if you select the $30-per-month option, you will only have to pay every month.
With this plan, you’ll be able to create connections with a sizable 25 social network accounts, with access to content duration and bulk scheduling for up to 3 team members.
This is obviously one of the basic selling points on this platform. To access more users and more advanced features on other similar platforms, you’ll be required to make a huge subscription payment, whereas the needs of many businesses are already covered in the introductory subscription package on SocialPilot.
To subscribe to the Small Team Subscription package, you only pay $50 per month. If you pay for the year, you will be given a discounted price of $42.50 per month. All you need to do is build on your Professional account by creating connections to another batch of 25 social network accounts and access the Inbox tool for coordinating conversations.
This plan offers white-label reports in a PDF format, for companies that want to incorporate their packaging and branding prior to forwarding analyses to their customers.
More Plans
There’s an Agency plan costing $85 monthly if paid yearly, or $100 per month if paid for on a monthly basis. This plan has all in the Small Team Package included together with the initiative to connect a hundred social network accounts and up to 10 team members.
Each of these plans comes with a two-week free trial, and a credit card is not required.
There’s still a 4th option, which is getting in touch with SocialPilot to make your own plan, should your needs fall outside the given parameters.
Obviously, this technique to pricing has multi-user social network teams and agencies in mind.
In the entry-level plan of the platform costing $30 per month, 3 team members are covered. With that context, it becomes so easy to recommend the SocialPilot tool to agencies and businesses that may not require the kind of integrated social listening features that can be found in Sprout Social.
Who Created SocialPilot?
SocialPilot is subscription-based access to cloud software products commonly known as SaaS (Software as a Service)
Conclusion – Is SocialPilot Worth It?
SocialPilot has ease of use and also, easy to navigate. Not only that, it supports leading social platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc., to schedule your content.
It also allows for the upload of images, videos along with your content. It helps to detect the target audience by age, location, etc. SocialPilot is really a powerful tool to help you find new clients and also, increase your profit.
Now that you know SocialPilot will not disappoint you, sign up and boost your traffic.
If you are ready to get efficient and help yourself and others to use all the social platforms to promote content and schedule it all for easy access, you have found the perfect place and at little expense.
I hope this has helped, please leave a comment or like and share. Thank you.
LILY
Hey Lily. Very interesting article. I’m just starting my adventure with digital marketing and posts like this are extremely useful. To be fair I have not heard about the social pilot tool, but going through your review it seems a great options for beginners. Looking forward to using your recommendation as I test it in practice, hopefully it will increase traffic to my site.
This is great news to hear. I certainly wondered if I needed a content scheduler but we all do as our businesses grow. With so much content you need a strong tool to automate sending them out to all the social media platforms.
Fantastic review Lily! I’ve heard about SocialPilot from a bunch of different people, and all of them seem to have quite a one-sided opinion on it.
I guess I’ll have to take your word for it lol! What’s your opinion on the Agency plan for a starter? Let’s say I’ve recently got into marketing my site and created social media profiles. If I’ve got the budget, is it worth investing in the more expensive plan right away?
Julius
Hi Julius, sounds like you will be building a large business fast. That is terrific news but I always err on the safe side, why spend money you don’t need to? Always do the free trials so that you can see what they offer. Save a penny, save a pound I say.
Hi Lily,
I had not heard of SocialPilot before. Having a tool like this can help to leverage ones efforts in Social Media. A few questions come to mind.
SocialPilot is capable of scheduling posts on a plethora of sites. If one only uses one or two sites is it still possible to justify the cost?
What are the minimum number of weekly posts to make it worthwhile to invest in SocialPilot?
Do the posts have to be uploaded to a SocialPilot data storage area for this process to work?
Thanks for your time in responding to my post.
Cheers.
Edwin
Hi Edwin, Good to see you and hear that you had your shot today. I personally feel that it is really worth the money even if for know you are only using one or two sites but the question you need to ask yourself is should you be posting on many more sites? The answer is absolutely if you want to get more traffic. At $25 a month, you will quickly recoup this in sales.
If you are seriously building content on your website you will be adding at least 5 articles a week. If you are then sending these out on a rotating basis to at least 3 social media, you will be sending out 15 posts at least a week but cycling through all your content over the month. That’s a lot of promotion for your website.
Wishing you great success Edwin and thanks for commenting.
Lily
Thanks for this great review on social pilot, it was very informative and interesting. As an online marketer myself, I believe one of the most important factor for you to succeed online is to have good traffic to your site, which can bring in potential customers, and I must say, there are no better way of generating customers to your site than by using social media. I like the fact that one of social pilot’s feature says that it is able to detect your target audience, which is key, it is pointless to attract people to your website who are not interested in the services or products you are offering. The 14 day trial on all plan is also a very great offer!
There is so much that SocialPilot can help you with on automatic Nedia. Maxing out your time with promoting your content on social media is so important, this is a great tool to help you.
Hi
Yet another wonderful review on SocialPilot. I have a new website that I would love to market and promote. I agree with you that social media has millions of users and I believe SocialPilot is indeed the right ‘pilot’ to manage and schedule posts. I love the fact that it is affordable and easy to use. It is indeed a powerful tool and can help grow a business in all social networks. Thank for the review.
You are correct Boi. We all really need something like SocialPilot to max out our social links. I truly believe that we can’t find all the time we need in a day to write and promote our content. Using a tool like this is the only way to go.
